Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking an Insulator - Metal Man to insulate surfaces such as ducts, hot or cold pipes, storage tanks, boilers and buildings. You will read blueprints, select materials, and install insulation on industrial facilities across the U.S.

Requirements include 4+ years of scaffolding experience, NCCER certification, and a valid driver's license. Must be able to work at heights and comply with safety protocols; EOE.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of scaffolding experience preferred.
• NCCER, Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation to specified size.
• Fit, wrap, or attach insulation following blueprint specifications.
• Apply adhesives and secure insulation with covers.
• Work at heights and use PPE as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
