Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required; hose or industrial hose sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of sales, customer service, and management principles.
• Strong ability to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Windows, and general computer applications.
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
• Ability to learn and retain detailed product information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, energetic, friendly, and positive personality.
• Dependable, cooperative, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Willingness to work additional hours when necessary to meet customer and order demands.
• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies designed to grow the customer base, increase store traffic, and maximize revenue and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, particularly within the oilfield industry.
• Regularly communicate with customers at rig sites, regional offices, and other locations to understand their needs and identify new opportunities.
• Promote, sell, and provide customer support for the company's hose and fitting product portfolio.
• Generate new business through company-provided leads as well as self-generated prospecting.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address customer concerns or issues.
• Support, train, motivate, and provide guidance and performance feedback to sales staff.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment with strong merchandising standards.
• Identify creative ways to expand the company's market presence and increase sales.
• Participate in field sales activities and customer visits as needed.
• Develop and launch new sales campaigns and initiatives.
• Monitor customer relationships and changing customer requirements to identify opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and provide regular sales performance reports to management.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
