KLA Industries, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-member team and become an expert in our clients’ businesses. You will develop quotes, propose parts, and act as account manager to grow sales across existing and new customers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering and a solid track record of customer-facing work.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining, metal or materials process operation.
• Willingness to grow your career by interfacing with customers and team members.
• Good communication, verbal and written, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for the parts the customer wants.
• Be an account manager for your customers to increase sales and serve their needs and get them answers to their questions.
• Work in conjunction with field sales and territory sales to increase sales and grow the business. 75% of the work is existing clients, 20% is seeking new business from existing clients and 5% is new business development.
• Much of the work is done on a project basis and you will see it through the entire sales cycle.
• Interface with all departments and levels within the company to effectively accomplish your work.
• Limited travel, once per quarter on average.
