Job summary

Vicinity Energy in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Instrumentation Controls & Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls in a large industrial plant. Responsibilities include calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and programming electronic instruments, with focus on safe operation and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 2+ years of experience in central plants or similar process environments, familiarity with 4160V systems, and ability to work

Qualifications

Technical or trade school degree in electronics, computer science, or equivalent industry training and experience.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as a technician performing maintenance and repair in central plant, power generation or other process plants.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with company policies.
Identify, report and correct unsafe work environments.
Operate hand/power tools.
Maintain equipment used to control boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps and other plant equipment.
Perform calibration of electrical and pneumatic control systems.
Install and program electronic instruments; install sensors and wiring.
Test and troubleshoot electrical power supply circuits.
Create and update diagrams for plant electrical and pneumatic controls.
Write work orders for equipment repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
