Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Controls, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience in electrical systems, electronics, and/or instrumentation controls may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Locate and repair defects in control systems involving electrical, solid state electronic, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
• Inspect, adjust, repair and calibrate electrical relays.
• Install, calibrate and maintain single-element and multiple-element control systems.
• Inspect components of instrument and control systems and replace faulty parts.
• Perform maintenance and installation on HVAC equipment.
• Place in or remove from service instrument and control systems undergoing study or tests.
• Troubleshoot PLC/SLC Logic Control Systems and locate hardware I/O addresses; build basic programming logic.
• Dismantle, overhaul, reassemble and install electrical equipment up to 6.9 kV.
• Compile and record data from tests and investigations; prepare graphs and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
