Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking an experienced technician to maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment across plant processing systems. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, install I/P converters, transmitters, and MS PLC/HMI networks, while ensuring safe operation and compliance with OSHA standards.

The role involves reading P&ID diagrams, repairing panel boards, and supporting data gathering systems. Outdoor/indoor work and schedule variability are expected in Velma, OK.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
• Associate's degree or technical certs in instrumentation/electrical tech preferred.
• Experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, tune, configure and install I/P converters, positioners, transmitters.
• Install, maintain, and program GE PLC, Allen-Bradley PLC, Wonderware HMI systems.
• Maintain process control and data gathering systems.
• Read P&ID diagrams and maintain equipment drawings.
• Train co-workers in safe procedures and participate in safety meetings.
