Job summary

Targa Resources in Texas is seeking an I/E Technician to handle configuration, installation, diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical process control systems, switchgear, transformers, PLCs, UPS, and related equipment.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, calibration, reading schematics, and using MAXIMO for work orders. A minimum of 4 years in industrial electrical work and a valid driver's license are required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of related industrial electrical experience.
• Valid driver license required.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibrations on electrical equipment and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and components.
• Install new electrical equipment and components.
• Notify Supervisor of repetitive electrical issues.
• Read, understand and red line schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Operate and perform activities in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Enter repair work requests into a CMMS (MAXIMO) for major or routine maintenance.
