Job summary

CF Industries is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician for the Verdigris Plant in Oklahoma. This safety-sensitive role focuses on the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of instruments, automation systems, and electrical distribution, ensuring the plant runs smoothly.

You will calibrate and troubleshoot instruments, tune control loops, and support project execution while adhering to safety standards. The position reports to the I&E Supervisor and is on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; instrumentation training advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in process instrumentation and control systems.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Exposure to HART, DCS, and BMS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and control systems.
• Maintain electrical systems and motors up to 4160 VAC.
• Support safety programs and participate in change management and project documentation.
• Assist in project execution and documentation across the plant.
• Work onsite at Verdigris Plant.
