Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Technician to install, inspect, calibrate, commission, and repair instrumentation and control systems in industrial facilities. You will work with process instrumentation, control valves, PLC and DCS systems, electrical circuits, and related equipment.

This role requires strong troubleshooting, ability to read P&IDs and schematics, and the capability to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team during

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Technical degree or recognized training in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, or Process Controls preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial instrumentation and controls experience or equivalent.
• Experience installing, calibrating, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and process control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform calibration and functional testing of process instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control circuits and PLC/DCS I/O.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, schematics, and data sheets.
• Document calibration results and prepare service reports.
• Travel to customer facilities as required.
