Job summary

Dow is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician in Freeport, Texas to support IH management systems and provide hands-on IH activities for a specific plant.

You will implement IH programs, serve as a plant resource for procedures, perform exposure risk assessments, coach teams, and coordinate monitoring and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed IH programs using established work processes and procedures.
• Acts as the plant IH resource for procedures and standards.
• Performs employee exposure risk assessments for chemicals, noise, ergonomics, and radiation.
• Coaches teams on IH tasks and activities.
• Coordinates IH monitoring activities and reports results for the Plant.
• Maintains IH monitoring equipment and schedules audits.
• Coordinates medical surveillance requirements with Health Services.
