Job summary

JLL is seeking a skilled Operating Engineer for the 3rd shift in Thornton, CO. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Life Safety systems to ensure reliability and safety.

You should have CMMS experience, EPA 608 Type II certification, and at least 2–4 years in building systems, with strong MS Office skills and a high school diploma or GED. The role is on-site with potential for varied shifts and call-in duties.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Experience with CMMS is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of trades schooling in electrical, refrigeration and HVAC is preferred.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification is required.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor and service facility equipment to meet standards.
• Maintain facility services, inventory, and contracted maintenance.
• Record readings and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
• Comply with safety and hazardous materials policies.
