Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic III - HVAC to join our Operations & Maintenance Team in Albuquerque. The role provides mid-level expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and repairing fixtures and systems within a manufacturing environment.

Working under minimal supervision as part of a self-directed team, you will perform machine repairs, non-licensed maintenance, and support other trades. Safety, CMMS, and energy efficiency focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of maintenance experience in HVAC/Industrial mechanical or automotive repair.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Additional licensing may be required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on building equipment and related services.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment to determine problems and effect repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and CMMS updates.
• Assist in installing, inspecting, and servicing new equipment.
• Support project teams, contractors, vendors, and engineers as needed.
