Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our team, servicing heavy commercial and industrial equipment. You will perform mechanical installations, troubleshoot problems, and work under guidance under the labor agreement while earning the apprentice rate.

You will enhance HVAC knowledge through the STA program, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with customers and the Local 601 Milwaukee Steamfitters & Refrigeration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Valid drivers license.
• Willingness to join Local 601 Milwaukee Steamfitters & Refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and service on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to basic warranty calls.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
• Maintain safety and communicate progress to customers and teams.
