Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our growing team. This role offers factory certification through STA and opportunities to service advanced heavy equipment, solving comfort and efficiency issues for healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial clients.

Tradesmen perform installations, troubleshoot problems, and provide quotes while advancing under an established labor agreement. The position is on-site with a union-based pay structure.

Qualifications

• Adherence to the Safety Program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; respond to basic warranty calls.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
