Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our growing team. You will service and maintain advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment, acting as a trusted advisor to customers to resolve comfort and efficiency issues.

The role includes factory certification through our Service Technical Academy and mentorship from peers. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities to upsell and provide thoughtful facility improvements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and preventative maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to join Local 601 Milwaukee Steamfitters & Refrigeration.
• Adherence to the Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under supervision and mentorship.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency and upsell opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
