Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our growing team. As the leading Building Technology OEM for Healthcare, Manufacturing, Higher Education, K12 and Commercial Real Estate, we provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) and offer competitive pay and benefits.

You will service and maintain the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and solving comfort and efficiency issues.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results, mentored by peers under the Employer’s labor agreement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues.
• Provide recommendations to ensure facility runs efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Skills

Familiarity with HVAC equipment

Willingness to join UA of Plumbers

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
