Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with EPSS servicing and troubleshooting is essential.
• Valid Driver License is required.
• Ability to obtain Generac certification in air-cooled and protector series courses.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and after hours as directed.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance service and/or repairs of generators.
• Read and interpret manuals, electrical schematics, literature, and work orders.
• Detect faulty operations and report to the service manager promptly.
• Stay current on NFPA and state regulations for EPSS.
• Create reports for all work performed in FieldServio.
• Communicate findings via phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct equipment commissioning for industrial and MPS products.
