Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE - USA in Wellford seeks a team member to process quotes and repair orders inhouse and on site, coordinate with field service, and ensure timely documentation for customers and internal teams.

You will assemble cost estimates, schedule repairs, and benefit from a comprehensive package starting day one, including medical, retirement, PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical contextual experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, parts lists, catalogs and price books.
• Familiarity with SAP, CRM, ERP and SOP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process service cases for repairs or restock and issue documentation to customers and associates.
• Create and provide accurate quotations for field service, repairs and restock and follow up with customers.
• Create accurate cost estimates for repairs (gearbox, motors, coupling, auxiliary systems).
• Process Service Orders, issue Order Acknowledgments and follow up with customers.
• Create Assembly Decks and coordinate/schedule repairs with assembly and logistics.

Job description

Currently the position involves handling all steps required for complete, accurate and timely processing of quotes and repair orders inhouse and in the filed as well as the return of products to the Industrial Gears Wellford facility for repair, analysis or restock.

Education

Mechanical and technical experience preferred.

Wage Range

$20 - $24/Hr.

Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of project management principles, scheduling software, and relevant industry standards
• Clear and effective communication with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions and other technical documents.
• Knowledgeable of the SAP, CRM, ERP and SOP computer system will be advantageous.
• Must have mechanical aptitude required to assemble and disassemble gear drives.

Tasks

• Process service cases for repairs or restock and issue relevant documentation to customers and associates.
• Create and provide accurate quotations for field service as well as repair and/or restock of returned goods and do regular follow ups with the customer.
• Create accurate cost estimates (quotes) for repairs (gearbox, motors, coupling, auxiliary systems,)
• Process Service Orders, issue Order Acknowledgments and do regular follow ups with the customer.
• Create Assembly Decks and Coordinate and schedule repairs with assembly and logistics personnel.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
