Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Compressed Air & Gas Treatment Territory Manager to grow sales and margin across industrial and distribution channels within a defined territory. You will manage existing accounts and develop new ones, ensuring Parker products are specified and align with the company's Win Strategy.

You will build technical product knowledge, coordinate with divisions, participate in trade shows, and train distributors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years in direct sales or distributor sales of industrial technical products.
Filtration products and applications experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
Proficient PC skills (MS Office).
Willingness to travel overnight 50–75% of the time.
Must be located in/near Minneapolis, MN, or able to reside in the region.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM customers and distributor accounts while meeting objectives.
Maintains technical knowledge of Parker products, applications, features, advantages and benefits.
Obtains specifications and approvals at engineering firms and major accounts to increase sales opportunities and margins.
Keeps management informed about market changes and competitor activity; develops response strategies.
Supports cross-divisional initiatives and referrals to provide the required products/services.
Provides product training at distributor and customer levels and guides distributors.
