Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Field Service Technician to service odor-eliminating units across client sites in the United States. This permanent, onsite role is based in Rising Sun, IN, with extensive travel (roughly 80% of the time) to Eastern and Southern states.
You will perform preventive maintenance, wiring, and troubleshooting of PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens), and provide on-site and remote technical support while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring and service work.
- Experience with motors, fans, blowers, relays, and timers in industrial controls.
Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to service odor eliminating units.
- Plan and execute service schedules independently.
- Provide technical support to customers onsite and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems including Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Perform electrical wiring and service work.
- Work with motors, fans, blowers, relays, and timers in industrial controls.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
