Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Maintenance Technician for a permanent, on-site role in Reading, PA. 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime available. Pay range $30–$37/hour, with eligible benefits and comprehensive medical plans.

The successful candidate will dismantle and repair manufacturing equipment, perform PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams as part of a collaborative maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens) and electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintenance experience with mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.
• Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.
• PLC troubleshooting through ladder logic - Allen Bradley or Siemens
• Troubleshooting both electrical (high-voltage) and mechanical production equipment
• Working with other maintenance technicians as a team as well as engineers
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
