ABB is seeking a capable Field Service Technician to join our Midwest service team in Johnsonburg, PA. You will perform on-site field service, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics on industrial control systems, ensuring timely and high-quality service for customer operations.

You will identify opportunities to improve processes, coordinate with customers, and train junior staff as needed. The role requires DCS/QCS, PLC, electrical troubleshooting, and a willingness to be on-call to support

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 7+ years' experience in field service or preventive maintenance.
• Experience with DCS/QCS systems and PLCs.
• Electrical/electronics troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service tasks and preventative maintenance on-site or remotely.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment for service activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and train field service staff when needed.
