Job summary
Aggreko is seeking an Industrial Field Technician in Houston, TX to support temporary cooling tower solutions at refineries and heavy industrial facilities. You will participate in installation, setup, maintenance, and teardown across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on safety and efficiency on outdoor sites.
The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical/electrical work, equipment testing, and coordination with team members to install and service cooling tower systems.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years hands-on experience in heavy industrial environments such as construction, refinery or petrochemical work.
- Cooling tower experience is valuable, transferable mechanical/electrical skills acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Install/setup of temporary cooling tower equipment.
- Installation/maintenance/repair/replacement and rotation checks of pumps and motors.
- Basic industrial electrical work and troubleshooting at apprentice level.
- Cooling tower equipment maintenance and inspection.
- Equipment teardown/decommissioning after project completion.
- Daily jobsite safety and inventory responsibilities.
