Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Technician 1 - Electric in North Houston, TX to maintain and repair generators, electrical equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors. You will travel daily to customer sites in a company vehicle from the North Houston service center.

Minimum 2+ years in diesel/gas generators or commercial HVAC, with the ability to read electrical schematics and lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
Valid driver's license; ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card as required by customers.

Responsibilities

Based out of our North Houston, TX service center, traveling daily to customer sites in a company vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer sites, diagnosing and executing repairs.
Set up and operate equipment independently or alongside fellow technicians, both in the shop and on customer sites.
Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel to support customer operations.
