Job summary

Aggreko in Houston, TX is seeking a Technician 1 — Electric to maintain and repair generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors at customers' sites and at our North Houston service center.

Based out of North Houston, you will travel daily in a company vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support overtime/weekend needs with opportunities for travel to client operations; a high school diploma and 2+ years' hands-on

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with 2+ years' hands-on experience on diesel/natural gas generators and HVAC equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and calculate tonnage or kW requirements.
Valid driver's license; able to obtain a TWIC card or DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, electrical equipment, chillers, HVAC systems and air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment at shop or customer sites and perform repairs.
Set up and operate equipment in shop or on site; travel to customer sites as needed.
Work overtime and weekends; potential travel to support operations.
