Job summary

Filamatic, a division of National Instrument, LLC, seeks a Field Service Technician to build, install and maintain OEM industrial liquid filling machinery. The role involves hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to customers.

The position reports to the Technical Operations Manager and is based at our Baltimore facility with national travel. You will travel up to 30% to client sites, install equipment, test products, and train operators to adhere to

Qualifications

• AA degree or technical school training in mechanical/electrical/computer science
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical/electrical practices and troubleshooting
• Ability to follow detailed mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and test machinery per mechanical and electrical prints
• Travel up to 30% to client sites in the United States
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on machine operations
• Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment
• Assist with final assembly and factory acceptance testing
• Work full-time Monday–Friday, some weekend travel as needed
