Job Juncture is seeking a technically skilled Field Service Engineer in Addison, IL. You will be the technical expert on customer sites and also contribute from the facility by refining SOPs, digitizing records, and strengthening the service department's structure.

You will travel to client sites to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, while also training customer personnel and identifying service opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance, field service or industrial experience on equipment.
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools/meters.
• BS, AAS, or technical certifications in electronics/engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Willing to travel 3-4 days per week, ~70% domestically; passport may be required.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across electrical, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary service contact.
• Identify and communicate upsell opportunities including service agreements and preventive maintenance.
• Relay field observations and customer feedback to internal teams for product/service improvements.
• Assist with in-house assembly and equipment testing during non-travel periods.
