Confident Search Consultants in Addison, IL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair customized industrial equipment at customer sites. The role includes updating manuals, converting records to digital systems, and shaping a growing service department.

This position blends hands-on field work with back-office duties such as SOP writing and training customer personnel. A technical background and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• 2+ years hands-on maintenance or field service experience.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across electrical, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary contact for ongoing service needs.
• Identify upsell opportunities including service agreements, calibration plans, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Relay field observations and feedback to internal teams to support product improvements.
