Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Columbus, GA, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, meet sales and gross margin goals, and grow the assigned territory. You will conduct in-person calls, demonstrate products, price proposals, and collaborate with suppliers to secure mutual business.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 25% with strong computer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Previous wholesale electrical distribution or sales experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts in Crescent’s CRM tool.
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Present and demonstrate products, price quotes and add-ons as appropriate.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure mutual business and manage customer expectations.
