Job summary

Saft seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance of factory grounds, buildings, and utilities. Lead technicians, manage safety programs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong preventive maintenance background, good communication across management levels, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in the battery manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related fields.
• 5-10 years' experience in industrial/electrical engineering.
• 5 years of supervisory experience desired.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role and ability to lead teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical; troubleshooting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with drafting software; understanding blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules and protocols.
• Lead facilities technicians and monitor performance.
• Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee procurement for facilities activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to address facilities issues.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage installation, repair and upkeep of operations throughout the facility.
