Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role and ability to lead teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical; troubleshooting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with drafting software; understanding blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules and protocols.

All About You

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team in the battery manufacturing industry. As the facilities manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the factory facilities related to the factory grounds, building, electrical/gas/water supply, heating, cooling and janitorial services are maintained to the required levels regarding safety, non-interruption of services and cleanliness to meet regulatory and Saft management, both Corporate and local requirement. This role requires a strong focus on safety, preventive maintenance strategies, team leadership, and vendor management. Provide leadership to ensure SES observations and safety incident investigations are completed timely. If you have excellent technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in industrial/electrical engineering required.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity in drafting software and understanding blue prints and schematics.
  • Proven experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and other PC based operations and maintenance programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees.
  • Must be able to work throughout the entire facility and grounds (including dry rooms).
  • Awareness and ability to avoid electrical and mechanical hazards is a must.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and protocols to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and systems, including predictive maintenance programs.
  • Lead facilities technicians, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and monitoring performance.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Oversee the procurement for facilities related activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address facilities-related issues and support organizational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
  • Responsible for managing installation, repair, and upkeep of operations throughout the facility and act as the guardian of critical equipment.
  • Direct all plant facilities functions involving buildings, systems, and grounds to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pipe fitting, and welding.
  • Assists in developing and implementing the capital planning, plant equipment, procurement, and installation, design and operations needs of the facility.
  • Manages effective equipment, inventory and work order history.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to detect and resolve problems.
  • Act as the Technical Contractor Manager by managing contractors and service providers regarding maintenance activities.
