Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical support and safety programs at a fast-paced industrial site in New Mexico. You will direct maintenance activities, manage documentation in Maximo/SAP, and ensure on-time completion of work while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
• Experience supervising or managing subcontractors in a technical industrial environment.
• Ability to analyze facilities maintenance problems and implement engineered or alternative solutions.
• Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and delivering to large audiences.
• Experience developing and training a multi-skilled technical workforce.
• Experience in creating metrics and data mining to drive performance.
• Experience with continuous improvement disciplines (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and/or manages the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.
• Manages reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distributes to available technicians.
• Leads safety program for the worksite and maintains reporting associated with safety activities.
• Audits work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed.
• Reviews new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work and addresses accordingly.
• Maintains effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team.
• Reviews and approves time reporting.
• Compiles, maintains and presents various reports to Amentum management and client teams.
• Participate and Document Cost savings and Root Cause Analysis.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
