Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimating Manager for our industrial construction division in Elmwood Place, OH. This leadership role oversees estimating activities, coordinates with operations, and guides bid strategy for large-scale projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in lump sum and T&M estimating, risk analysis, and cost control, with strong collaboration across projects, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating, project management, or related field.
• Strong background in industrial construction services including scaffolding, insulation, refractory, fireproofing, and coatings.
• Experience with lump sum and T&M estimates and proposals.
• Ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.
• Experience leading estimating teams and coordinating across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review, and submission of cost estimates for industrial construction projects.
• Develop lump sum, T&M, and all-inclusive proposals across divisions.
• Analyze bid specs, drawings, scope documents, and schedules.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop detailed project budgets, forecasts, and cost models.
• Lead bid reviews with leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
