Job summary

The State Group, through Herbst Electric, seeks a Project Manager/Estimator based in Cleveland, Ohio. The role focuses on preparing estimates, coordinating field work, and managing projects for industrial facilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a PM in industrial construction, a two-year degree in a related field, and experience with estimating software. OSHA training and strong organizational skills are valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial construction or a related internship.
• Prefer a 2-year degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with estimating software and ERP purchasing.
• OSHA Construction Training.
• Scheduling experience is a plus.
• Time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and information requests for quotations.
• Spend the majority of time in estimating and field work.
• Manage administrative and direct labor on projects.
• interfacing with clients and contractors during pre- and post-tender stages.
• Ensure quality construction standards are followed.
• Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Manage and mitigate project risks.
• Adhere to The State Group’s standards and procedures.
