Job summary

G&W Equipment, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to grow our industrial equipment portfolio.

You will prospect new business within your territory, build relationships, and guide customers through capital equipment purchases, ensuring smooth delivery with internal teams. You bring at least 3 years of B2B field sales in relevant industries, strong communication and negotiating skills, ability to manage margins, and comfort with cold outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outside sales in material handling, construction, or related B2B.
• Proven success in developing and managing a sales territory.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of basic financial principles and margins.
• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency.
• Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Proficient with MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business within your assigned territory.
• Sell new and used industrial equipment from the G&W Equipment portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with customers and support their capital equipment purchasing decisions.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure a smooth sales and delivery process.
• Analyze your territory and identify opportunities to increase market share.
• Work with your Regional Sales Manager on territory planning and account strategy.
• Develop business plans tailored to key customers to drive both customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Stay engaged with customers through consistent communication and follow-up.
