Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Stationary Equipment Technician to maintain and repair recycling equipment, heavy machinery, and light trucks.

The role covers hydraulic and electrical systems, balers, conveyors, and surface maintenance to keep operations safe and productive. You will diagnose issues, interpret reports, document repairs, and collaborate with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair or trade school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical or trade school certificate.

Mansioni

• Diagnoses mechanical problems using charts, diagnostic software, technical manuals and expertise.
• Performs repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment and light trucks to maximize safe and productive operations.
• Repairs or replaces parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings, using mechanic’s hand tools.
• Replaces conveyor belts, electrical motors, hydraulic cylinders and other mechanical parts.
• Reads and interprets vehicle condition reports and repair orders, communicates with supervisor for clarification of problems.
