Job Opportunity: Industrial Equipment Operator

The Town of Wellesley is seeking a full-time Industrial Equipment Operator for the Recycling and Disposal Facility. The role involves operating diesel and gas-powered equipment for tasks such as baling recyclable materials, screening yard waste, grinding wood and brush, and loading compost and woodchips. The operator will also be responsible for piling and moving waste products and helping maximize revenue by removing recyclables from waste streams.

Minimum requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Class B CDL
• Valid Hoisting Engineer’s License Classes 1C and 2B
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Public Weigher

Equipment operated includes front-end loaders, forklifts, and trucks. The pay range is $22.96 - $30.90 per hour.
