This is a remote-field role with up to 85% travel expectations. CDL A required. Ideal candidates are located in Texas or Oklahoma. Tanker Endorsement is preferred. The role involves hands-on construction work and labor tasks on the jobsite.

Position Summary

As a Construction Equipment Operator, you will work with a safety-first team on utility construction projects, often outdoors and physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor such as hand digging and working in trenches.
  • Transport materials and equipment around the site.
  • Use various equipment and materials for construction tasks.
  • Perform splicing and install units related to projects.
  • Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and ensure safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with management and crew.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED; 3-6 months related experience preferred.
  • Experience operating excavators, skid steers, or similar equipment (1+ year preferred).
  • Valid CDL Class A license and DOT medical clearance required.
  • Tanker Endorsement is a plus.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift over 50 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and perception.
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 85%, often on short notice.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, and extended travel.
