Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Machine Assembler in Cedar Rapids. The role involves assembling large commercial packaging equipment, handling subassemblies and frame components, and accurately connecting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic parts. Testing of parts for proper operation may be required.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, climate-controlled environment, and stepwise pay progression from the minimum rate to higher levels over 12 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year A.A.S. in Industrial Maintenance Technology or 2–5 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• WorkKeys Certificate preferred (Silver or higher).

Responsibilities

• Assemble large commercial packaging equipment, including subassemblies and frame components.
• Connect electrical, mechanical and pneumatic parts and test for correct operation.
