Job summary

Novolex is hiring a maintenance technician for the Cedar Rapids facility, working Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm in a climate-controlled environment. This role focuses on setting up and testing large packaging equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and reading engineering blueprints and schematics.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 2-year A.A.S in Industrial Maintenance Technology or 2-5 years of related experience, and a National Career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year A.A.S degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or 2-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate Silver or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test large commercial consumer packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and electrical functions.
• Read engineering blueprints and schematics.
