Job summary

Raytheon seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager to support the Surveillance portfolio in McKinney, TX. You will lead a team of industrial engineers, directing project planning, metrics, and Lean initiatives to improve throughput and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include aligning resources with demand, mentoring engineers, and partnering with multiple functions to drive process improvements and executive updates. Strong leadership and manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 8+ years of experience or 5+ years with a master’s degree
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering or similar and ability to obtain required clearances
• Ability to obtain interim Secret clearance prior to start date
• Experience applying industrial engineering tools including Lean, capacity modeling, facility design, and process optimization
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams to achieve measurable results in manufacturing environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and related credentials

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of industrial engineers, including hiring, staffing, goal setting, coaching, performance evaluations, and approvals
• Oversee IE project planning and execution to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs
• Develop key metrics and performance indicators to improve cost, quality, and schedule outcomes
• Lead Lean transformation initiatives and factory modeling using value-stream maps and CAD layouts
