Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Industrial Engineer to provide engineering and project support across facilities. You will drive labor productivity and inventory control improvements by developing time-studied standards and incentive plans while leveraging dashboards to monitor performance and implement corrective actions.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, validate processes, and train operations teams on labor management, inventory control, and CI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations).
• 3+ years in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing engineered labor standards.
• Continuous improvement methodologies (CI) knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills to identify root causes and solutions.
• Strong business planning, analytics, and financial analysis skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts and warehousing best practices.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and project support to Americold facilities to improve labor productivity and inventory control.
• Use dashboards to monitor labor, inventory, and service performance and drive corrective actions across sites.
• Develop, validate, and maintain time-studied standards and performance incentives.
• Lead process improvements and evaluate equipment needs.
• Train operations teams on labor management, inventory control, and CI tools.
• Create scheduling tools and own labor management system performance.
