Job summary

Americold is seeking an Industrial Engineering professional to provide engineering and project support across its facilities, driving labor productivity and inventory control improvements through engineered labor standards and CI initiatives.

You will leverage dashboards to monitor site performance, develop time-studied standards, calculate incentives, and train operations teams while advancing warehousing best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Logistics).
• 3+ years in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing engineered labor standards.
• Continuous improvement experience and CI methodologies knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Root-cause problem-solving to meet targets.
• Strong business planning, analytics including metrics/financial analysis.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts and warehousing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and project support to Americold facilities.
• Leverage dashboards to monitor labor, inventory, and service performance; drive corrective actions.
• Identify productivity improvements and inventory control initiatives through CI projects.
• Develop, validate, and maintain time-studied standards.
• Calculate and implement performance incentives.
• Provide training on labor management and process-improvement tools.
