Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an Industrial Engineering Lead to direct onsite Operations and IE teams supporting Dispense, Fulfillment, and compounding areas in our Arizona facility. The role drives system reliability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across facilities.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in engineering within regulated environments, with strong leadership and hands-on expertise in GMP-related processes and facility systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related).
• 5–7 years in engineering/support roles in regulated environments (pharma/biotech/medical devices).
• Working knowledge of sterile filling, tableting, liquids, powders, packaging and facility design.
• Understanding of 21 CFR, EU Annex 1, USP 797 regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent work with cross‑functional teams.
• Process mapping, data analysis, RCA and use of statistical tools; AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Excellent cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management; travel willingness.
• Hands‑on experience with 503A/503B compounding; knowledge of pharmacy regulatory standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Industrial Engineering Team onsite.
• Coordinate cross‑functional groups and respond to emergencies with delegated tasks.
• Develop and maintain engineering policies/procedures aligned with site standards.
• Own critical systems such as EMS/BMS, HVAC control, and CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
• Support installation, commissioning and qualification of systems/equipment.
• Interface with maintenance, validation, QA and facilities teams on projects.
• Work with vendors during new system implementations and upgrades.
