Job summary

Polar Semiconductor is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern in Bloomington, MN for a temporary 12–13 week assignment on-site. You’ll join the Industrial Engineering group to support efficiency projects and collaborate with Operations, Process, and Maintenance Engineering teams.

Responsibilities include capacity and labor studies, fab observations, and using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python to tackle optimization tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering / industrial and systems engineering, completed sophomore year.
• Skills include Statistical Analysis, Programming Basics, and Optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Capacity studies and reports to drive modeling accuracy.
• Labor studies and improvements affecting operational efficiency.
• Fab observations and identifying operational opportunities.
• Utilize software (Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, etc.) to solve complex problems.
