Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Decorah, IA is seeking an Industrial Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Support team. You will work with the Engineering group to enhance manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

You will support various manual or automated build and test operations within the Decorah Operations Team, gaining hands-on experience with CAD tools and industrial engineering methods, and learning RTX CORE system

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
Must have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op session.
Experience with CAD software is preferred (SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineering to enhance manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.
Assist with optimizing production operations from tactical to strategic initiatives.
Support manual or automated build and test operations within the Decorah Operations Team.
