Job summary

Korpack is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize material flow and layout across two facilities. You will conduct time studies, perform line balancing, and pursue automation opportunities to improve throughput and reduce bottlenecks.

You will partner with Manufacturing Operations and Distribution & Supply Chain teams to design scalable processes and document standards inside our ERP system for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Demonstrated experience with automation projects—scoping, justifying, implementing, and validating results
• Track record of improving throughput in a real production environment (line balancing, changeover reduction, bottleneck analysis)
• Experience analyzing and redesigning material flow and material handling—layouts, move frequency, touch reduction
• Strong data skills: you can build the analysis yourself (Excel required; Power BI and ERP data experience a big plus)
• Manufacturing or packaging environment experience required; food, CPG, or contract packaging experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies, line balancing, changeover analysis, and material move mapping
• Identify automation opportunities and layout improvements across two facilities
• Document standards inside ERP to scale learning
• Collaborate with Distribution & Supply Chain on cross-functional projects
• Turn tribal knowledge into repeatable, standards-based processes
