Job summary

Korpack is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Illinois to optimize material flow and layouts as we add 150,000 square feet of operating space. You will improve throughput, balance lines, and analyze changeovers to design efficient production layouts.

You’ll partner with Manufacturing Operations and Distribution teams, conduct time studies, and document standards inside our ERP so processes scale as the footprint grows. A strong data mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Experience with automation projects: scoping, justification, implementation, validation.
Track record of throughput improvement in real production environments.
Experience analyzing and redesigning material flow and layouts.
Strong data skills: Excel; Power BI and ERP data experience a big plus.
Experience in manufacturing or packaging environments; food/CPG/contract packaging a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct time studies, line balancing, changeover analysis, and material move mapping.
Identify automation opportunities and drive throughput improvements.
Design layout changes for expansion and document standards in the ERP.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and Distribution teams to optimize flow.
