Job summary

Hyve Solutions, part of SYNNEX Corporation, is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Olive Branch, MS to optimize production processes. You will conduct time studies, improve layouts, and apply lean techniques to reduce waste and costs while elevating quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Internships or Co-op in Industrial/Mechanical systems including packaging, layouts, conveying, and product handling.

Responsibilities

• Determine the capacity of production and process.
• Improve production processes through lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs and increase quality.
• Layout changes using AutoCAD and ergonomics studies for workstation design.
• Apply 5S, 7 Waste, VSM, and problem solving to optimize operations.
• Create and maintain Job Detail Records and perform time studies with value-added vs non-value-added analysis.
• Train and assist equipment operators and maintenance technicians.
• Review safety and quality standards to ensure compliance in manufacturing.
• Engage with leadership across functions to drive project direction and outcomes.
