Job summary

Fairlead Integrated, LLC seeks an Industrial Engineer (Mid–Senior Level) to drive performance improvements across its manufacturing and waterfront operations, including welding, steel processing, fabrication, machining, assembly, and logistics planning. You will contribute to capacity-growth initiatives and scalable production systems aligned with capital-improvement strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10+ years in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proven success leading multi-area improvement initiatives across fabrication or waterfront ops.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
• Experience with capacity modeling, layout design, workflow engineering, and production system development.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization across welding, steel processing, fabrication, machining, and logistics.
• Analyze takt time, capacity, labor utilization, bottlenecks, and material flow for throughput gains.
• Develop optimized plant layouts, staging plans, and waterfront work sequencing.
• Support facility expansion and layout changes aligning with Lean flow and capacity.
• Conduct time studies, standard work, production balancing, and ergonomic improvements.
• Support tooling, automation opportunities, and ROI feasibility analyses.
• Partner with Quality to reduce scrap, rework, and process variability.
• Improve KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, yield, and on-time performance.
• Lead root-cause investigations, Kaizen events, and sustainment planning.
• Mentor frontline leaders in Lean principles and disciplined execution.
